Summary Judgment
04/23/2012 - Travis Rhoades and John Halpin recently won summary judgment in a contested motion on issues of corporate liability for asbestos exposures in a case venued in the Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania. Plaintiffs sought to hold our client legally responsible for the business activities of a separately incorporated entity, and moved to reopen discovery and to amend their pleadings as part of the effort to overcome the motion. We prevailed at each step of the process, ultimately securing summary judgment after three months of briefing.
