Biography:
Michele M Ford is a shareholder at the firm. Michele concentrates her practice in municipal law, civil rights litigation, public and private sector employment law, land use law, school law, and appellate procedure and practice in federal and state court. She was appointed as the City Attorney for the City of St. Francis in May 2003. She is a frequent speaker on topics including law enforcement and municipal liability, employment law, civil rights, constitutional issues and insurance matters. She is the author of numerous articles relating to municipal law and civil rights defense, including "Immunity for Municipal Acts" Civil Trial Council of Wisconsin Newsletter - Spring, 2002 and "Privacy Issues for Municipal Entities – E-mail and Internet Policies", Wisconsin Public Employer Labor Relations Association Newsletter - Summer, 2001. Michele is a member of the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations, serves on the Amicus Committee of the Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin, is a Barrister with the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, serving on the Lawyers Professionalism and Ethics Committee.
